SA Belt

Open mesh balanced spiral belt made by alternating spirals twisting to the left and to the right, with round or laminated wire, interconnected by pre-crimped bars (crossbars).

It is the most widely used belt worldwide as it can be made in a wide variety of meshes and with different wire diameters. This versatility and its ease of installation and maintenance make it suitable to satisfy most of the needs in production processes.
It is linear and stable during operation mode and has an excellent strength-to-weight ratio.
The belt is moved by interference with the drive roller and can also be equipped with side chains. See SAC belt.
Some specifically calibrated meshes (with crossbar pitch: 5,08 – 6,35 – 8,46 – 12,7 and 19,05) can be also driven by sprockets (positive drive), thus reducing the winding diameters.

Applications

È impiegato nella maggior parte dei processi industriali dove è richiesto un buon flusso d'aria. In base al tipo di materiale con il quale è realizzato può essere utilizzato sia in ambienti freddi e umidi che caldi e asciutti anche ad alte temperature.
