Shear Blades for IS and Rotative Machines
WBT shear blades are used for cutting molten glass gobs. The size can vary according to the gob diameter and the number of simultaneous cuts: single, double, triple and quadruple cuts.
Our shear blades are made of special steel with high hardness and toughness-level, which make it suitable to withstand high temperatures. The shear blades undergo a specific tempering process and a precise sharpening process: they are tougher in the cutting area and more elastic in the mounting area, thus allowing an excellent functionality.
